Information about the End-of-Year Showcase!

Get excited for our upcoming showcase!

Location: The showcase will be held in the Three Rings gym.

Preparation: During class they are working on large group ground acts, and smaller group aerial acts. There will not be individual solos unless in certain circumstances.

Tickets: 2x tickets minimum will be reserved for purchase each child, and you can purchase more for the whole family! Tickets are $20 each.

Food and drink will be available to purchase.

Please refer to the information below regarding each class’ performance date, time and costume requirements.

We ask that when your child’s class is performing you move to the front to watch, take photos and film. When it is the next class we will shift everyone so that the next group of parents can be up close.

PLEASE ARRIVE AT LEAST 1 HOUR BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED SHOW TIME!
Costumes don’t need to be perfect, have fun with it! The tricks and fun are the focus, and everyone will go up.

Saturday 10am Show

  • Theme: 1950s Rock ‘n’ Roll

    Costume: Be inspired by Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, bright colours and retro patterns.

  • Theme: 1970s Country Rock

    Costume: a mix of rugged western wear with laid-back hippie and classic rock n roll styles.

    Denim, fringe, patchwork.

  • Theme: 1980s pop

    Costume: Big hair, bright colours, layered clothes, bright leotards.

  • Theme: 2000s hip hop/rap

    Costume: Oversized and baggy, shiny metallics, layering clothes

Saturday 1pm Show

  • Theme: 1960s British Invasion/Rock

    Costume: Pin stripes, “mod” looks, clean fashion.

    Black tights, white tops, pinstripe suits, geometric patterns.

  • Theme: 1980s Hip Hop/ Rap

    Costume: Brightly coloured or classic matching tracksuits. Big sunglasses.

    Exaggerated shoulder pads.

    neon leotards, spandex, leggings, and leg warmers

  • Theme: 1990s Pop

    Costume: Think spice girls, 90s fashion, layered shirts, fun colours, spikey hair, butterfly hairclips and chokers.

  • Theme: 2000s rock/alternative

    Costume: Vintage band t-shirts, jeggings, layered tops.

    heavy, intentional "raccoon" black eyeliner, pale foundation, and deep side-swept bangs with maximum volume.

    Think emo, pop punk

  • Theme: 1950s Rockabilly

    Costume: Polka dots, classic cherry motifs, leopard print, and retro stripes.

    Bandanas or hair flowers, cat-eye sunglasses, and cropped cardigans

  • Theme: 1970s disco

    Costume: shiny metallic or sparkly fabrics. Flared pants.

  • Theme: 1980s synth pop/new wave

    Costume: Metallics, bold patterns, ruffled poet shirts, velvet coats, mismatched pieces.

  • Theme: 1990s hip hop/rap

    Costume: Oversized graphic tees, baggy cargo pants, and tracksuits. Plastic butterfly clips and thin headbands

  • Theme: 2010s Indie/Folk

    Costume: vintage band tees, lace-trim camisoles, earthy colours (burgundy, mustard yellow, forest green, navy, and brown).

    Patterned leggings, jeggings.

Advanced Showcase

  • Theme: 1970s Classic Rock

    Costume: Sparkly, form-fitting spandex or satin jumpsuits. Flared bottoms, silk tops.

    Glitter, metallic face makeup.

  • Theme: 1980s RnB

    Costume: Bold colours, High-waisted acid-wash jeans, fun fusion fashion.

    bright, expressive makeup.

  • Theme: 1990s punk

    Costume: Graphic t-shirts, black, ripped clothing, tartan plaid, distressed denim.

  • Theme: 2000s Electronic

    Costume: Neon and black.

    Striped shirts, band tees, jeggings.

    Chunky plastic chokers, granny socks, and messy, smudged eye makeup

Adults Showcase

  • Theme: 1960s Motown

    Costume: Sparkles, clean, form fitting,

    Girl groups like The Supremes wore identical or perfectly coordinated dresses.

    Dramatic cat-eye eyeliner and pale or nude lips.

  • Theme: 1980s Rock/Glam Metal

    Costume: also called hair metal.

    Huge teased hair, heavy makeup, spandex, leather, and bright colours.

  • Theme: 1990s Grunge

    Costume: Oversized plaid flannels were worn open over band tees, pants with distressed rips and tears.

  • Theme: 1990s Boy Bands and Girl Groups

    Costume: Matching glam, or give each person a “character” within the wider group (Destiny’s Child, Spice Girls).

  • Theme: 2000s Emo/Pop Punk

    Costume: A short-sleeved graphic tee layered over a contrasting striped or solid long-sleeved shirt.

    Black tights. Side fringe, smudged eyeliner.

  • Theme: 2020s KPop

    Costume: Y2K revival fashion - throwback to the late 90s/early 00s fashion.
